Simone Scirè · HS Agency

The most tenacious marketing agent in Northern Italy

I'm Simone Scirè, partner at HS Agency. My clients call me the most tenacious marketing agent in Northern Italy. The reason is simple. Every problem that comes my way gets solved, and I don't stop until it is. I keep going, certain that there's always a solution. The proof is below.

The beginning

How did the first clients come in?

HS Agency didn't start with word of mouth. It started with a phone and a pair of shoes.

For months I made 100 cold calls a day.

And I didn't just stay on the phone. I went in person to Novara, Pavia, Milan, Vercelli and many other cities. I walked into shops one by one and introduced myself as a marketing agent. It cost me a huge amount of time and effort, but that's exactly what made me grow.

At the start I sold a single service, the Top 3 on Google, and that's how my first clients came in.

The method

What happened after the first call?

At the first no, I stopped calling. Plenty of people push until the other side gives up. I chose to work differently.

For me, tenacity in sales is something different: nobody who shows interest gets forgotten. So I built a simple, precise follow-up system. Everyone I spoke to had a next step, a note of what we'd discussed, and a date to speak again.

In practice, if you asked me to call back later, I called you on the day we agreed, not a day earlier, not a day later. Nobody was forgotten, and nobody got one call too many.

It's the least visible work of all, but it's what turns a “maybe” into a client.

If instead you told me on the call that you were interested, I sent you a video recorded just for you, with a free analysis of your business: what was working and what wasn't. Before asking you for anything, I wanted to give you something useful.

The agency has grown since then, but the principle is the same. It always starts with the free consultation, the call where we really get to know each other: I understand who I'm talking to, and together we decide how to move, how to set up the website and everything else.

Market research

Why is market research the hardest part?

But of everything I do, the hardest part is something else: market research. I do it before every campaign, on Google and on Meta alike, and every time a website has to be written to bring in clients. It's also where I make the difference.

In practice, you have to put yourself in the buyer's shoes and understand how they think, what holds them back and the words they use to describe their problem. It's a different kind of effort from everything else, because working hard isn't enough: you have to understand people.

Only then do I build the page, the website or the ads.

Every day

Where does everyday work take tenacity?

Some parts of my work take more tenacity than others. These are the ones I run into most often.

Citations

For every client I fill in more than 50 listings on 50 different directories, typing the same details by hand every time. It's the longest, most tedious job there is and few people see it through, but it's also one of the keys to my results.

Big websites

I've had 30-40 page websites to optimise one page at a time. For each one, the title for Google, the main heading, the copy, the links to the other pages, the code that describes it to Google, and plenty more. It's good work, and a lot of it.

Photos

For a jeweller I tracked down the photos of over 400 pieces of jewellery, along with permission to use them, searching and sorting through often messy supplier portals. The same happens with a photographer, who has thousands of photos, or with anyone who works with lots of products: the more photos there are to manage, the harder the job gets.

Google Business Profile problems

Sometimes Google asks for specific videos to verify a profile, and passing verification isn't easy. Then there are suspended profiles, details Google changes on its own, fake or wrong reviews to get removed by writing to support, often more than once. It's tedious work that takes patience and precision.

Unusual requests

Sometimes a client asks for something unusual and extremely complicated, that nobody has done before. I get it done anyway.

Hours

How much does the most tenacious marketing agent in Northern Italy work?

Tenacity shows in the hours too. Here's what my week looks like.

Monday to Saturday I work from 8 to 12:30, from 2 to 6 and from 8 to 10 in the evening. On Sunday I start at 9 and the rest is the same.

Between one work session and the next I train, and every day I keep at least half an hour for studying, sometimes a full hour. Somewhere in there I find time to eat.

During all these hours I answer on WhatsApp, and often later in the evening too.
The day

How do you stay tenacious through a whole working day?

Tenacity takes energy, from the first call in the morning to the last hour of the evening, so I organise my day to stay sharp all the way through.

I train twice a day to keep my energy high and I've practised Wing Chun for years. On top of that I always eat clean, drink plenty of water and take a few breaks during long work sessions, so my mind stays at its best.

When you're strong you're more alert, and it shows in the work: at 10 in the evening a client's problem gets the same attention as at 8 in the morning.

What do clients say?

So far no client has wanted to leave, and they are all very happy.
